There are various costs associated with having junk removed from your home, office, or place of business. There are three main aspects that will affect your estimated quote: type of items you have, size of the load, and distance to and from the dump site.

The type of items you have will greatly affect the amount of your initial quote. Larger, heavier items that need two or men or special equipment will generally warrant a larger quote. This is to ensure that your items are removed from your location without damaging the surrounding property or causing injury to the workers.
SIZE OF THE LOAD
Not only does the type of items influence your costs, but the amount of items also influences your costs. One large piece that must be lifted by two men will generally cost you less than five to ten large pieces that must be picked up and carried to the truck, and eventually to its final destination.
DISTANCE TO AND FROM THE DUMP SITE
Depending on your location, you must take into account the most effective way for your junk movers to properly dispose of your items. If you have a basic load that can be transported to a dump that is close by, that may be cheaper than if you live 20 miles from the nearest junk yard.
